Skills are abilities that we acquire over time either by focused learning or by just practicing by following a master. Competencies are a combination of skills for achieving an outcome. There are these four levels of competence in our learning journey.
Subconscious incompetence: The competencies that we don’t know that we don’t possess. This level can also be defined as ignorance.
Conscious incompetence: The competencies that we know that we don’t possess. This level can also be defined as awareness.
Conscious competence: The competencies that we know that we possess. This level can also be defined as learning.
Subconscious competence: The competencies that we don’t know that we possess. This level can also be defined as master.
Regularly improving productivity is extremely necessary competence for progressive focusing on continual improvement. This checklist contains the skills needed to excel in this competency.
